Panto Get Together – Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

Your chance to step into Panto Land at New Mills Art Theatre starts Festival week, as preparations for 2024 production of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves begin. You will meet our production team led by Director, Rob Brittles, Choreographer, Cathryn Yates and Musical Director, Claire Sweeney – all very experienced in pantomime and all types of musical theatre. Our team will talk about the story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, characters, music, choreography and will answer all your questions. Auditions will be held later in September and the dates will be announced at the Get-Together. Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves will run over two weekends with performances in February 2024. If performing is not for you, but you would like to be part of the production, please still come along to our Get-Together or contact us as above. You could join our Stage Crew, Technical or Front of House teams who are all volunteers, committed to providing high quality live entertainment at the Art Theatre for many years.
