Drawing the Landscape Workshop

How do you go about capturing the movement and character of a landscape? Artist and urban sketcher David Lowther will teach you to create an expressive landscape, on location, in the Torrs. Through the use of mark-making and drawing techniques you will leave this workshop with new skills, a lot of inspiration and your very own work of art.

Materials provided. If you have one, please bring an A3 drawing board. A folding stool would be useful but not necessary.

Meet at the Torr Vale Tap, at 10am, where David will hold a pre-sketching talk and show some of his work. The workshop and talk will take around three hours in total.

This workshop is reliant on the weather. In the case of cancellation tickets will be refunded minus the booking fee (sorry).
