Lost Pubs of New Mills – a Guided Walk

The Lost Pubs of New Mills; a walk by Walkers are Welcome. Once upon a time there were 36 pubs in the parish. Many of them have been lost. The walk visits the locations of some of these lost pubs and looks at the reasons for their loss. Lost pubs include The Bulls Head, the Pineapple, the Grapes, St Albans. Plus, many more. This guided walk will be led by Mike and is about 3 miles long.
This walk has been organised by New Mills Walkers are Welcome and will the last of a series of guided walks that Mike has been leading, on the last Thursday of each month, during the summer.
Starting from Rock Mill Centre. Start time 10.30 am. The walk takes around 2.5 hours
No charge or ticket requirements, although donations are welcome.
