Storytelling Stroll with Professor Jigget
Sunday September 15 - 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Ok folks, we have a last minute great event for you! And it’s FREE (thanks to our wonderful sponsors Swizzels Matlow)!
Nature inspired folklore as told by Professor Jigget. Fresh air storytelling for all the family!
Put on your sturdiest boots and warmest socks as it’s time to join The League of Curiosity on a Storytelling Stroll.
Prof. Jigget will lead the way through the park and to the New Mills Community Orchard, telling stories of faeries, tree spirits, giants, dragons, witches and more!
Each story is based on nature inspired by folklore, myths and legends from around the world.
Stories include:
The World Tree
The Salmon of Knowledge
The Faerie Tree
The Old Woman of the Woods
and much, much more!
We’ll meet outside High Lea Hall and then the Professor will lead us to the orchard telling his fascinating stories en route. The walk lasts for approximately 1.5 hours depending on the speed of the families walking.
Tickets are free but must be booked:
